ENTERTAINMENT REPORTER TINA MARIE TYLER TO JOIN AUTISM CARE AND TREATMENT'S 4TH ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT


Tina Marie Tyler, an acclaimed broadcast journalist, will join the long list of celebrities who will golf for autism, at Autism Care and Treatment's 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The event will be held on Monday, May 17th, 2010 at Braemar Country Club in Tarzana, CA. The tournament is hosted by actors Joe Mantegna and Grant Reynolds, with actor Ron Masak serving as Tournament Chairman. 

Tyler, a Managing Editor – Entertainment & Film for the prestigious “Art And Living Magazine”, founder of Global Disability Initiative, and passionate supporter of Autism and disability issues.

Her fifteen years as a journalist have included working for such organizations as ABC News (top 12 affiliate), Fox 11 LA, Fox Sports, PBS, and as a special entertainment correspondent for EXTRA!, the TV Guide Channel, and a number of International outlets. From the Academy Awards©, to the GRAMMYS, to the Cannes Film Festival, Tina Marie Tyler has covered entertainment’s most prestigious events.

Current activities include: Vice President of the board of directors of Kids With A Cause ( a celebrity kids helping kids in need organization), member of the board of directors of Easter Seals Disability Services, creator of the Unity Ball© Awards Dinner (a charity gala where persons with disabilities are the stars and those in entertainment who are making positive contributions to disability awareness are honored), and a member of the California Senate Task Force on Autism And Related Disorders.

Tyler has recently founded the Global Disabilities Initiative, a non-profit corporation designed to educate, engage, and include persons with disabilities is all aspects of life.
