EXTREMELY FUNNY MAN - JOHN MENDOZA TO GOLF FOR AUTISM ON MAY 17th

Comedian John Mendoza says all jokes aside - he will golf for autism! Mendoza will join other stars on Monday, May 17, 2010 for Autism Care and Treatment's 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, benefiting children with autism. The much anticipated event will be held at Braemar Country Club, located at 4001 Reseda Blvd, in Tarzana, California.

"I'm so - so thrilled to have John Mendoza join us on May 17th," says Event Producer Daphne Plump. "He is one of the funniest comedians around and has a huge heart full of passion to help children with autism."

Mendoza will golf in the tournament and dish up some funny moments as he hosts the Live Auction during the tournament's seated dinner and awards gala.

Actors Joe Mantegna and Grant Reynolds are the hosts of the 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Actor Ron Masak, best known for his role as sheriff on Murder She Wrote, is the Tournament Chairperson.

"This tournament has become such a fixture in the community," says Tournament Director and ACT Today! Board member Stefan de Nocker. "We hope that it will keep growing in the coming years because the more it grows, the more autism care and treatment we can provide to children whose families can not afford the necessary skills for their child to live a productive life."
