ACT Today! hopes to raise much needed funds for autistic children through their 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament held in Southern California.
Autism Care and Treatment (ACT Today!), a non-profit organizaton whose mission is to provide grant money for families that cannot afford or access the treatments their autistic children need, will hold its 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, May 17, 2010 at Braemar Country Club, 4001 Reseda Blvd., in Tarzana, California. The 18th hole tournament will feature Beat the Pro contests, silent & live auction, and raffles prizes. In addition, film and television celebrities, sports celebrities, and community members will take part in the fun-filled day.
One in every 110 children is diagnosed with autism in America, a rise in last years numbers of one in 150 children. ACT Today! is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children with autism whose parents can not afford to access the necessary care and treatment.
Proceeds from the 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will provide the necessary tools for children with autism to live a productive life. These tools include (but not limited to): helmets, therapy, social skills classes, and biomedical treatments. The need for supporters is great. By becoming a sponsor you can help a child.
